Man kills mother in Maharashtra for not cooking food, arrested: Police arrested

Police said on Sunday that a 25 -year -old man was arrested for allegedly killing his mother after getting up to cook food for him in Dhule district of Maharashtra.

An official said that the incident took place on the night of 24 May in Wathod village in Thalanlar area.

The 65 -year -old victim Tipbai Pawara prepared a fish meal for his son, Avilesh, and left for sleeping in his hut. Drawing from the smell of fish, a stray dog ​​entered the house and ruined the food, the officer said.

Avalesh came home late at night and found the food infallible. The police officer said that the son, who was under the influence of alcohol, asked Tipbai to get up and cook fresh food for him.

When Tipbai did not respond, his drunken son got angry and broke a wooden stick on his head, the official said, citing his investigation.

On Sunday morning, Avalesh woke up and saw that his mother had fallen in sedimentary. He called his relatives, who rushed to their place and found the elderly woman dead with a severe head injury.

After being alert, the police took Avalesh into custody.

A case of murder has been registered against the son at Thalanler police station, the official said that another investigation is going on.
