Massive fire in the Enforcement Directorate office in Mumbai ends, no one hurt

Civic officials said a major fire broke out in the ED office building in the Balad Estate area of ​​South Mumbai on Sunday, said that there was no report of any injury.

Officials said the fire brigade received a call about the blast in the multistory Kaiser-I-Hynd Building, which has the Enforcement Directorate (ED) office, which is around 2:31 pm near the Grand Hotel on Curimboy Road, said the officials said.

Fire Brigade teams reached the spot and started fire operations. Around 3:30 pm, the fire was upgraded to level-II, which is usually considered a major fire, the fire brigade control room was confirmed.

A civil officer said that the fire was limited to the fourth floor of the five -storey building.

The official said that eight fire engines, six jumbo tankers, an aerial water tower tender, a respiratory equipment van, a rescue van, a quick response vehicle, and an ambulance from 108 service were deployed on the spot.

The official said the cause of the fire has not yet been ascertained.
