MediaTek on Tuesday showed several artificial intelligence (AI) solutions for a wide range of equipment and platforms at Computex 2025. Taiwan-based chipmaker unveiled its first hybrid computing solution to offer AI capabilities on the edge, a new chipset to bring AI to AI in the in-car infotainment system, as well as an internet-off-game (IOT) platform to provide electricity to a wide range of equipment in the event. MediaTek showed these innovations as part of its comprehensive AI vision, which for AI running on AI, edge, as well as to provide solutions on clouds.
In a press release, the chipmaker expanded several AI-operated innovations, shown in Computex 2025. Highlighting the solutions to their broad range, the chain, the president of the MediaTek said, “The company aims to” offer AI-Interested Experiences in many applications and lead to the wide adoption of generation AI. “
The first is an ideological hybrid computing solution that integrates 5G connectivity via MediaTek’s AI-Integrated Fixed Wireless Access (FWA) gateway with on-device AI capabilities in single device. The solution is in a prototype phase, and the company claims that it will be able to give high performance on a sufficient bandwidth ensuring low delay and data privacy. The chipmaker said that it has completed the proof-off-concept trial with the “major telecom infrastructure provider”.
With this hybrid solution, MediaTek performed its AI hub that connects with smart home devices and allows on-device AI agents to cooperate and function as a personal assistant for users. Once prepared, this technique will allow users to use centralized AI hub to command several home appliances simultaneously.
In addition, MediaTek also highlighted its partnership with NVidia to develop GB10 Grace Blackwell Superchip, claiming to be the world’s smallest AI supercomputer for DGX Spark. It can perform 1,000 trillion operations per second (tops) per second, and locally run the AI model with 200 billion criteria.
The project includes Custom App-specific integrated circuit (ASIC) solution in the role of MediaTek, which aims to address high-demonstrations and networking demands of modern datasentres and AI accelerator. The company says its roadmap includes support for advanced procedure nodes, high-speed interconnects and custom high-bondwish memory (HBM) packaging, which enables improvement density and efficiency improvement.
Introduction to the Flagship-Tier Demissions Auto Cockpit C-X 1 chipset, the company said it would combine AI models and acoustic technologies to enable individual virtual assistants in the in-car infotainment system. Platform 8K videos, Dolby Vision also supports HDR and Dolby Atomos.
Also, MediaTek also unveiled an in-car 5G dual sim dual active auto connect MT2739 with 3 transmit antennas (DSDA 3TX) technology. The system uses AI to customize network connectivity and support features such as intelligent visual recognition. The company also demonstrated a 5G ECALL system that could automatically alert emergency services in the event of a serious accident.
Coming into the IOT solution of the chipmaker, MediaTek unveiled its Genio 720 and 520 IOT platforms, supporting many types of equipment in cases of home, retail, industrial and commercial use. The company says that it can serve the motorcycle control board, robotic arms and service robots. MediaTek is currently working with IOT players such as Advantech, Adlink, and co-development applications for their platforms.
Finally, the tech veteran also displayed his AI-operated Philogic Wi-Fi that can detect intervention sources, adapt the settings, and allocate bandwidth in many devices. The company has also planned to launch its 5G-Advanced Leo NR Non-Tarest Network (NTN) on the KU-band in Taiwan.
