The MediaTek Helio G200 was launched by chipmaker on Monday as the latest midrange chipset for mobile devices. The Taiwan -based firm says that its new processor is aimed at the powerful gaming smartphone, which has given special emphasis on social and messaging app growth. This is claimed to provide more than 40 percent improvement against competitive alternative platforms when it talks about single-core performance. Despite the change in the name, chip specifications are largely unchanged with Helio G99, except for Helio G100 or even its predecessor, Helio G99, high GPU clock speed, better HDR video quality and other minor changes.
According For MediaTek, the Helio G200 chipset has a 6Nm octa-core architecture with asymmetric multi-processing. The SoC consists of two ARM Cortex-A76 core with 2.2GHz and six arm cortex-A55 core 2.0GHz clock speed. It is complemented with 4266Mbps maximum frequency and UFS 2.2 storage by LPDDR4X RAM. Although the same hand in the chipset is the gardener-G57 MC2 GPU as its processor, it comes with a high 1.1GHz clock speed.
MediaTek claims that Helio G200 40 percent leads to better single-core performance and 20 percent multi-core performance. It is said that the Antutu benchmark is also 35 percent fast performance. GPU’s high -clock speed allows it to perform 75 percent faster than competitive alternative platforms, while the chip is 30 percent more power efficient during gaming.
The processor has been equipped with MediaTek hyperangin that manages the CPU, GPU and memory based on the demand for electricity, thermal conditions and gameplays, demanding a smooth gameplay while maintaining power efficiency. The company says that it switchs between wireless antennas for the best signal ensures stable frimit and fast network performance. CHIP takes advantage of the connection of the connection to keep the game online even after receiving a call.
The smartphones equipped with MediaTek Helio G200 chip will be able to support up to a 200-megapixel camera sensor, which take advantage of the underlying triple-core image signal processor (ISP). This supports video capture up to 2K resolution at 30 frames (FPS) per second (FPS). Its new 12-bit DCG supports high-quality video HDR capture, while hardware also has features such as dual-camera support and Lawlus in-sensor zoom, and are combined with portrait lenses. MediaTek says that it has worked with the camera app developers to reduce power consumption by 20 percent.
The chip supports the on-device display without the requirement of additional DSC hardware with a 120Hz refresh rate with maximum full HD+ resolution. Its display sink technique is asked to promote power efficiency by dynamic adjusting the fresh rate depending on the use, resulting in a profit of up to 20 percent.
For connectivity, Helio G200 SOC brings a CAT -13 DL modem with dual 4G VoLTE, 4×4 MIMO, 256QAM, Bluetooth 5.2, and Wi -Fi 5 support. It supports satellite systems such as QZSS, Galileo, Beedo, Glonus, Navic, Navic, and GPS.
