Police said a 24 -year -old man was shot in a broad daylight near Chaudapur metro station on Thursday, allegedly spoken by two motorcycles Born Men on old enmity.

Police said that the man, identified as Arun Lohia, was traveling with his father in his SUV, when the incident took place at 1 pm near CDR Chowk.

According to the police, Arun Lohia and his father, Ramvir Lohia, were returning from a court hearing in the murder case against Arun. He was in his SUV, a Black Scorpio car, when two people on a motorcycle asked him to stop.

Deputy Commissioner of Police (South) Ankit Chauhan said in a statement, “Then he approached the driver’s side window and set fire to Arun.”

Police sources said, “The accused pointed two guns to Arun and started firing at him. His father Rambir Lohia came out of the vehicle and even tried to stop the attackers, but they ran away.” Police sources said that at least 10 rounds were fired on Arun. When he took him to a nearby hospital by an inspector of Delhi Traffic Police, he was bleeding, where he was declared dead on arrival.

During the investigation, the police found that the attack was due to an old enmity. The case registered against Arun included a property dispute.

The police source said that the accused and the victim were from the same village and Arun had fired on one of the accused last year.

After the attack, the entire area was closed and several police teams reached the spot.

He has purchased CCTV footage of the entire incident. This incident has caused panic between the audience and the passengers.

“I heard that the firing is close to my shop. I came running and I came to know that a person was shot by some people on a motorcycle who ran away from the scene after firing. However, the area was nervous due to firing, I completely believe that the police would do them. The victim was in a black car.”

Police said that further investigation of the case is going on.
