Union Minister Piyush Goyal has said that similar terrorist attacks in Pahgam will continue to disturb the nation until all 140 crore Indians consider patriotism and nationalism as their “paramount religion”.
He emphasized that such acts would never break India’s spirit.
Speaking to reporters on Friday, Mr. Goyal said that people’s sentence will soon be sure to resume tourism in Kashmir, and the pilgrims will continue their Amarnath Yatra.
He said that India’s growing global stature was disturbing some forces.
The Union Commerce Minister said, “These incidents represent the final efforts of those powers. It is an unbearable attack, but we will not leave anyone.”
“As long as 140 crore Indians consider patriotism and nationalism as their highest duty, such unfortunate incidents will continue to bother the country. I believe that the power of India, which is emerging globally, is causing some inconvenience to some individuals, creating some inconvenience to some individuals,” said the minister.

Highlighting India’s success in combating internal threats, Mr. Goyal said, “As soon as we are rapidly eliminating Naxalism, we will defeat terrorism in this way. India’s strength and determination are disqualified.”
Asked about Pakistani citizens, to end his visa in India, Mr. Goyal said, “We have already announced and informed them to leave the country. No one will be allowed to stay here illegally.”
Addressing concerns that the attack could affect tourism in Kashmir, Mr. Goyal said, “The people of India have strength, courage and confidence. Tourism will soon start again, the pilgrims will continue their Amarnath Yatra, and Kashmir will be firmly on the path of progress. No one can stop it.”
Twenty -six persons, most of the tourists, were killed, when militants sprayed bullets at a popular meadow in Pahgam, Kashmir on 22 April.
Amidst the pain and anger over cruel killings, India announced diplomatic measures, including suspending the Indus Water Treaty against Pakistan.
