Officials said on Wednesday that more than 50 people from Goa were on leave in Jammu and Kashmir, who were stuck in hotels in Srinagar after a terrible terrorist attack in Pahgam and efforts to bring them back, officials said on Wednesday.
According to officials, terrorists killed terrorists at a major tourist place in Pahalgam, South Kashmir on Tuesday in Pahalgam, South Kashmir, and according to officials, killed most tourists and injured several others.
The terrorists set fire to the tourists who were getting around the eaters, riding the pony or only picnicing at Besaran Meadows in Pahgam, was postponed as ‘Mini Switzerland’ for its cool beauty.
After the incident, all visitors were taken from Pahgam and other places to hotels in Srinagar, a Goa government official said.
More than 50 people from Goa were currently in Jammu and Kashmir, “all are safe”.
The official said there were efforts to bring him back.
Goa tour operators were also planning to bring all tourists back from Jammu and Kashmir.
One of the tour operators said that some tourists were scheduled to visit the Basaron Point after meals, where the attack took place.
Ahraj Mulla, co-founder of the tour company Goa Adventure Club in Panaji, said, “A group of gones was in the Pahgam market when the incident took place, while another group was in Sonamarg. Everyone was called back to a hotel in Srinagar, he was currently safe,” said Ahraj Mulla, the tourist company of Goa Adventure Club in Panaji.
Mr. Mulla said that his firm had planned to travel from Pahgam and 12 for a group of 34 persons.
He said, “They are stranded due to a landslide in Jammu. They cannot go out of there as flights are running at full capacity.”
A group that went to Pahgam reached there on 17 April and was about to return on 24 April. “There are efforts to get the efforts back immediately,” Mr. Mulla said.
Daxal Naik, owner of travel bugs and travels near Panaji, said that a group of 26 persons who were facilitated by his company to Jammu and Kashmir were still stuck there.
“They have all reached hotels in Srinagar. We are trying to bring them back as soon as possible,” he said.
Mr. Naik said that a group of tourists from Goa were having lunch in Pahalgam market when the attack took place.
He said, “Tourists had to visit Besaran Point after having food, where the attack took place,” he said.
He said that the group had left Goa on 21 April and was scheduled to return on 26 April.
The non -availability of seats in the flights of Jammu and Kashmir forced tour operators to keep tourists in hotels there, claiming that the attempts were to bring them back from the earlier flight.
