More than 60,000 students pass, registration starts for exam 3

Karnataka 2 PUC exam 2 results 2025 out: The Karnataka School Examination and Assessment Board (KSEAB) has declared the results for 2 PUC exam 2 on May 16, 2025 today. Students taking the exam can now use their results on the official website, karresults.nic.in,

This year, the Second PUC exam 2 was conducted from 24 April to 8 May at 332 centers in the state. A total of 1,94,077 students appeared for the examination, which were held as an opportunity for improvement. Of these, 60,692 candidates have approved the examination, with a total pass percentage of 31.27%.

Girls improved boys once again

The results show that the girls have again dropped the boys. The pass percentage among women candidates is 36.38%, while the male candidates have 34.34%.

Arts Stream Record Last Pass Rate

Stream-wise, Arts Stream recorded the lowest success rate at 25.38%. The streams of commerce and science saw the pass percentage of 35.74% and 35.14% respectively.

Re -evaluation and exam 3 registration opened

Students who are dissatisfied with their score can apply for revaluation through the board’s website. Meanwhile, registration for 2 PUC exam 3 has also started and will continue till May 26, 2025. Students can register through their respective colleges without waiting for revaluation results.

Karnataka 2 PUC Exam 3 Schedule and Fee

The Karnataka 2 PUC exam will be held from 39 June to 20 June.

Application fee:

First attempt: Rs 175 per subject

Second attempt: Rs 350 per subject

KSEAB has advised students to prepare accordingly as this will be their next chance to improve the score before going on higher education options.
