Moto G86 5G may soon be launched in select global markets. The company has not yet officially confirmed any details about the handset, but leaks and reports have indicated its expected price and color options. Recently, a new leak has suggested major specifications of the alleged smartphone. It is to be introduced in two battery size options – 5,200mAh and 6,720mAh. The availability of either version will vary by the field. This phone is expected to succeed the Moto G85 5G, which was launched in India in July 2024 with 5,000mAh cells.

An alleged promotional image for the phone shared by Tipster suggests that the Moto G86 5G will be paired with the Mali-G615 MC2 GPU by the Mali-G615 MC2 GPU by the 4Nm Octa-Core MediaTek Dimperention 7300 SOC. It can offer onboard storage up to 12GB and up to 256GB. This will probably run on Android 15 with Hello UI at the top. According to the tipster, the handset may get two -year -old OS upgrade. However, users in the EMEA region are asked to receive a four-year biping security update.
In the camera department, the Moto G86 5G can be found with f/1.8 aperture and OIS support with 50-megapixel 1/1.95-inch Sony Lyt-600 primary sensor, 8-megapixel 118-degree ultra-wide shooter with macro and F/2.2 a 2D flash unit with an LED flash unit. On the front, it can get a 32-megapixel sensor with a f/2.2 aperture.
The Moto G86 5G has been tipped to carry a stereo speaker with dual microphones along with Dolby Atomos Support. The handset can come with an IP68 rating for dust and water resistance and a military grade MIL-STD 810H drop-resistance certification.

The larger 6,720mAh version may have an 8.65 mm profile and weighing 198G.
Connectivity options for all variants of the handset will include 5G, 4G VoLTE, Dual Band Wi-Fi, Bluetooth 5.4, GPS, Glonas, Beedo, NFC and a USB Type-C port. For safety, it is expected to receive the in-display fingerprint sensor.
An old leak claimed that the Moto G86 5G could be priced at 8GB + 256GB option for EUR 330 (about Rs 31,200). It is said to be introduced in golden, cosmic (light purple), red and mantra (blue) color options.
