Moto G96 5G India launch date set for July 9; Color option, major features surfaced

The Moto G96 5G will be unveiled in India later this year. With the announcement of the launch date, the company has revealed several major features and the available color options of the upcoming handset. This will be powered by Qualcomm’s Snapdragon 7S General 2 chipset and will feature a dual rear camera setup, including a 50-megapixel Sony Litia 700C sensor. The smartphone will sports a winding performance with water touch support and an IP68-rated dust and water resistant construction. The first leak has also indicated on other expected specialties of the phone.

The post states that the handset will be sold in Ashley Blue, DressDen Blue, Catley Orchids, and Gnerver pastry color options. A live Flipkart Microsite for the phone suggests that it will be available to buy in the country through the e-commerce site.

The Moto G96 5G has been confirmed to launch in India with a 144Hz refresh rate, 1,600 NIT brightness levels and Corning Gorilla Glass 5 protection with a 6.67-inch 10-bit 3D winding pold display in India. Screen provides water touch technology and SGS I Protection Certification.

Earlier, leak claimed that the Moto G96 5G would probably pack a 5,500mAh battery. Its dual rear camera unit may include an 8-megapixel macro vision camera and the front camera may use a 32-megapixel sensor. It can run on Android 15-based Hello UI and support 12 GB RAM and 256 GB onboard storage.
