Suhas Shetty was reportedly associated with various local Hindutva organizations and several cases were registered against him, including the attack and illegal assembly.
He was also a prominent accused in the murder of Mohammad Fazil’s 2022 murder in Mangaluru. Faizil’s assassination was widely considered an anti -anticipatory murder after the assassination of BJP’s youth activist Pravin Netteru.
