Passengers at an Air India flight at Delhi Airport have complained that they were built on Sunday to sit inside the aircraft without air-conditioning. The flight was scheduled to travel to Patna.
Air India said in a reaction to a post on X that operating reasons caused delays and asked their team to provide real -time assistance.
India Meteorological Department (IMD) said that Delhi’s day temperature on Sunday was 41.1 degrees Celsius, which was slightly above the seasonal average.
One of the passengers of Air India flight, Rashia Janata Dal MLA Rishi Mishra posted a video on social media that explained the situation.
“This is an Air India flight to Patna. Today is May 18, and it is 4 pm. We are inside the aircraft for an hour without air conditioning. You can see how much we are sweating. The children are affected, many people are affected, but there is no one to see the matter,” Mr. Mishra, running under his forehead, said the airfrants said.
Passengers were seen using inflite reading materials as hand fans.
MLA’s brother -in -law and surgeon, Dr. Bipin Jha contacted Air India on X and posted, “AI 2521 For Patna flight about Delhi! The air situation did not work and hundreds of passengers were on the board in this scorching heat for 3 hours! My brother who is a politician and former woman, you can fix it!”
Air India replied to him: “Dear Mr. Jha, thanks for bringing it to our attention. The flight is delayed by operating reasons. Please be relaxed, our team has been informed to provide real -time assistance. Hope for your kind of understanding.”

Sources said that the AC of the aircraft had failed. He said that Air India would send passengers to Patna within half an hour.
