The phone 3 is the first flagship smartphone from nothing, a brand that is now about five years old. The company revolutionized the entire design philosophy, which started with the TWS category with nothing and soon the same DNA was brought into the smartphone. The good news is that the phone 3 follows a similar philosophy, which receives decent shelling under the hood and some good tricks up to your sleeve. At the initial price of Rs. 79,999, nothing 3 challenges brand Samsung and Apple. But should you consider nothing new flagship smartphone? My thoughts are here.
Glyph interface
Before jumping on the overall design, I have to talk about the phone 3’s all-nine glyph interface that enhances the overall look and feel-gud factor. To give some references, we are living through a time when the rear design of the phone is unfortunately boring, and hardly anything exciting, which inspires us to put a case on it. Some people put it for safety, but when there is nothing to see there in addition to a logo or branding and camera module, you can use it with a case. Nothing with its unique transparent design philosophy records nothing, which not only makes the devices look exciting, but also brings back the focus to the design. Phone 3’s All-New Gliff Interface is a bold trick in that direction.
Gliff Matrix Phone 3 on the back panel
Gliff Matrix is the most notable feature of the rear of phone 3. 489 individually makes LED monochrome performance really useful. You can get a collar ID, app notification, battery status and more important information at a glance. All this by carrying forward the signature dot-matrix style of nothing. There is also a glyph button that makes it super easy to switch between different glyph elements. The company has also added some elements called “toys”, including gliff mirror, spin the bottle, stopwatch, solar clock, magic 8 balls and more. I will test all these characteristics during my review, so stay.
Phone 3 Sports A Triple Rear Setup
Preliminary idea
Nothing has gone out with its camera placement at this time, and it is one of the reasons why it stands out of the rest. However, it is initially a bit of mixed feelings. Camera alignment on the phone 3 is something you may not have seen yet, and moreover, dot LED matrix on the top right corner. The transparent design looks as striking as much as it has been. The sides are curved, and the phone feels a great one-hand use. The smartphone has been rated IP68 for dust and water resistance. For additional safety, there is nothing, the front of the corning Gorilla Glass 7 came and the rear Gorilla Glass Victus. From a distance, you can tell that it is not a product.
It packs 50-megapixel selfie shooter
The 6.67 -inch AMOLED display provides a 460PPI pixel density and a summit of 4500nits. It also receives the 120Hz refresh rate and supports 2160Hz PWM Dimping. Under the hood, it has Qualcomm Snapdragon 8S General 4 and will be available in two configurations: 12GB + 256GB and 16GB + 512GB. I will share my views on performance and performance in my review, which will be released next week.
The phone comes with 3 5 -year -old OS update and 7 -year security patch
Outside the box, the smartphone runs Android 15 with nothing that is running on top. At the launch, the company announced that the phone 3 will soon get OS 4.0 on the basis of Android 16. On the camera front, the phone 3 gets all the flagship-grade and nothing upgrade is obtained as compared to the phone 2. It has four 50-megapixel camera units, three of which are located behind and one in the front. During the launch, I could not spend much time using the camera, so I will discuss the quality of the camera in detail in my review. The required location is also available on the phone 3 and now comes with the necessary search, a new way to interact with the phone. The company has promised that the required place will get more personal features at the end of this year.
The battery department gets a bigger boost compared to the phone 2. It packs 5500mAh battery with 65W fast charging and 15W wireless charging support. In particular, anything other markets do not have 5150mAh battery shipping.
The phone 3 sports a 92.89% screen-to-body ratio and supports the summit of HDR10+ and 4500nits
Overall, nothing phone 3 packs all bells and whistles of a flagship smartphone and with the initial price tag of the rupee. 79,999, it also looks like one. There is no doubt that the phone 3 looks like the most complete smartphone from nothing yet, but is it good to defeat all the competition in the same price bracket? Well, it’s one thing that I can answer only after spending some time with the phone 3.
Stay for our intensive review of Phone 3.
