After revealing that the company was focusing on developing AI facilities in 2024, the firm did not roll the successor of the phone 2 (a premium smartphone). In the last few years, nothing has been launched by the budget and middle-range equipment by its assistant CMF. These include the Nathing Phone 2A series, followed by the phone 3A series and recently a budget offer by its sub-brand which is called CMF Phone 2 Pro. Nothing CEO, Carl Pai has recently mentioned in the answer to an X user that nothing will reach the phone 3 Q3 2025. In a recent program before Google I/O 2025, the founder of the company has given more information about nothing that the upcoming premium smartphone.
During Android Show: I/O Version Formation, Carl Pei Presented A device showcase (eg Motorola and Xiaomi) on the video explains any of its brand philosophy and success. After telling about the brand’s journey so far, Pei pulled out and showed that he had claimed nothing upcoming. As it is an undeclared device, the phone was blurred in his hand, and so it is difficult to explain what it would look like.
According to PEI, the company is going “all-in” and will not keep back when it comes to hardware and software. He says that the phone will be made from premium material and it will have a major performance upgradation. All this will be packed in the software that he claims that “will increase level things.”
Anything CEO and the founder said that nothing will be the phone 3 company’s “first true flagship smartphone”. We can expect some major upgrades to keep with the competition, which is now very different from the phone 2, a handset that came in the premium smartphone segment.
PEI also indicated nothing at the price of phone 3, saying that it would spend “GBP 800” somewhere, which is almost Rs. 90,000. This is actually a big indication that the phone will play Samsung Galaxy S25 Plus, and Oppo’s Find X8 Pro choice.
Given the focus of the company on design and software experience, nothing of the phone 3 is expected to look different from different glass-lady premium designs that we have seen and used on equipment at this price point. So far, due to no hardware specification leaks, in fact there is going to be a huge performance difference between the phone 2 and the phone 3, given that the East was launched with Snapdragon 8+ Jean 1 processor. At this price point, today’s flagship cameras offer a crowd and the available high-end processor, so it will be interesting to see the specifications of any phone 3 when made in the coming months.
