OnePlus 13S Customizable launched before launch in India with ‘Plus Ki’

OnePlus 13S is ready to launch in India soon. While the company has not yet announced the launch date for its upcoming handsets, it has continued to tease the major features of OnePlus 13S in the last few weeks. The smartphone will come with a Snapdragon 8 Elite Chipset and a compact 6.32-inch display. Now, OnePlus has revealed that the phone will have a “Plus key” button that is expected to offer the same functionality similar to the adaptable shortcut key at OnePlus 13T coming to China in April.

OnePlus 13S Plus major functionality launched

The upcoming OnePlus 13s will be equipped with a plus key, company Confirmed Through an X (East Twitter) post. Together the teaser suggests that the key will be optimized and possibly able to offer the same functionality as the company’s alert slider, or allow users to control the brightness level and reach AI features with one click. The key is placed on the left side of the phone, the same position where the three-state alert slider was first placed.

The new plus key appears to be similar to the optimized shortcut key at OnePlus 13T, which can be used to switch between do not disturbs, sound and vibration mode. It can also be assigned as a dedicated camera capture button or start recording with one click. Users can use it to use screenshots, to access the translation tool, or even set to take any action when pressed.

The design of OnePlus 13S appears similar to OnePlus 13T. In India, the handset is teased to get black and pink. It is confirmed to come with a 6.32 -inch display and Snapdragon 8 Elite Chipset. It will be available for purchase in the country Through Amazon and OnePlus India E shop,

OnePlus 13T was launched in China in April and the phone was with a 6.32-inch full-HD+ display 120Hz refresh rate. It is supported by a Snapdragon 8 Elite SOC, 80W fast charging support with 6,260mAh battery and an IP65-rated dust and splash-resistant build. The handset comes up to a 50-megapixel main rear sensor, 50-megapixel telephoto shooter with 2x optical zoom and 20X digital zoom. On the front, the handset sports a 16-megapixel selfie camera.
