OnePlus Nord CE4 may not have raised the bar or set a new benchmark when launched last year, but it was a good low-end mid-range smartphone, provided you could ignore its poor low light camera performance. Now, with the expectation of its successor to be launched in May, details about the upcoming Nord CE5 are beginning to emerge. After a recent report, who leaked its main specifications, now we have thanks to a leaked render on the design of OnePlus Nord CE5.

A report by SmartPrix An alleged render of OnePlus Nord CE5 is shared. The image allegedly shows the design behind the upcoming smartphone. The design looks fresh and very different from both the Nord CE 4 and Nord 4 launched last year, but there are some similarities with Nord CE 4 Lite, which was declared after CE 4.

The image shows the Nord CE5 in a pink finish with flat sides like the image Nord CE4 Lite, but with very sharp edges. Capsule-shaped rear dual-camera module may immediately remind one in an Apple iPhone 16, but you have to remember that vertically systematic dual-camera layout has been a staple with a nord chain for many years. The LED flash is now placed out of the camera module unlike the previous model. In addition to the protruding dual-camera layout, only the OnePlus logo in the rest of the rear panel is placed in the center.

According to the previous report, the OnePlus Nord CE5 is expected to be launched with a fresh rate of 120Hz with a 6.7-inch 1080p OLED display. OnePlus is said to have switched to MediaTek silicon this time, which is going for a demetance 8350 processor (4NM) with 8 GB RAM and 256 GB storage. The phone has been tipped to offer a 50-megapixel (primary) + 8-megapixel (ultravide) rear camera setup and has a 16-megapixel camera for selfie. It is said to pack a 7,100mAh high capacity of 7,100mAh with 80W wired charging support.
