More than 100 terrorists were killed in the strike.

New Delhi:
Sending a strong message to his first address after the ceasefire, Prime Minister Narendra Modi has said that instead of helping India fight India after the terrorist attack in Pahgam on 22 April, Pakistan attacked the country. The world, he said, saw Pakistan’s missiles and drones scattered like a straw by India’s air defense system.
Referring to India’s accurate attacks in the early hours of May 7, PM Modi said that India killed the major terrorist infrastructure base in Pakistan, which included the headquarters of Lashkar-e-A-Taiba in Muridke and Jai-e-Mohammed in Bahwalpur, called “global universities of terror”.
“More than 100 terrorists were killed in these attacks. Many masters (‘Aaka’) Terror, who had been conspiring against India, had been roaming freely in Pakistan for almost three decades and India ended them in a stroke. After this action, the clouds of disappointment surrounded Pakistan and it became frustrated (‘Baukhla Gaya Tha’In this frustration, it took another adventurous step: instead of helping India in its fight against terror, Pakistan attacked India, ”the Prime Minister said. “Pakistan targeted our schools, colleges, gurudwaras, temples and homes of civilians … our military establishment … but it was only exposed to the country. The world saw that the drones and missiles of Pakistan were scattered like straws … India’s air defense system prepared them to attack them. It was a great pride to Pakistan.”
The Prime Minister said that Pakistan had not expected destruction by India in just three days, and due to this, the country was looking for ways to protect itself. Pakistan, he said, began to appeal worldwide to help in getting relief from increasing stress. It was in the context that the Director General of Pakistan’s military operation reached his Indian counterpart on Saturday afternoon.
New paradigm
“Operation Sindor is now India’s established policy in the fight against terrorism, marking a decisive change in India’s strategic view”, PM said, announced that a new normal was set to deal with terrorism.
Underlining the three major pillars of India’s security theory, PM Modi said that the first is ‘decisive vengeance’, in which any terrorist attack will be fulfilled with a strong response and India will retaliate on its own terms, which will target the heart of terror.
Neutralizing a major part of Pakistan’s military strategy, the Prime Minister said that the second column is ‘there is no tolerance for nuclear blackmail’. India said, nuclear threats will not be afraid and any terrorist hub feels that it is safe because it will find itself at the end of India’s decisive attacks.
The third major pillar ‘There is no difference between terrorist sponsors and terrorists’: India will no longer look at terrorist leaders and governments who give them shelter as separate institutions. Pointing to the evidence of Pakistan’s state-proposed terror policy, the Prime Minister said that senior officers of the country’s army abolished the terrorists.
‘No conclusion’
Reiterating India’s situation, PM Modi said that after understanding on Saturday, it was understood on Saturday that it would stop all terrorist activities and enmity against India. The suspension of India’s counter-operations, he emphasized, has no conclusion, and New Delhi will monitor every step taken by Pakistan in the coming days and will ensure that they align with these commitments.
