Prime Minister Narendra Modi is currently presiding over a high level meeting with top government officials on Monday, including Defense Minister Rajnath Singh, Defense Staff General Anil Chauhan and heads of the three service heads.

  1. Defense Minister Rajnath Singh, Defense Staff chief Anil Chauhan and all three service heads – General Upendra Dwivedi, Admiral Dinesh’s Tripathi and Air Chief Marshal Amar Preet Singh – are at Prime Minister Narendra Modi’s residence to attend the meeting.
  2. National Security Advisor (NSA) Ajit Doval, Intelligence Bureau (IB) director Tapan Deka, and Research and Analysis Wing (R&D) chief Ravi Sinha also attended the meeting.
  3. A high-level meeting was held two days after the days of fighting a deadly terrorist attack in Pahgam in Jammu and Kashmir after a deadly terrorist attack.
