Oppo A5 Pro 5G will be introduced in India on 24 April. Before the launch, its expected price has been leaked online. Earlier today, the company confirmed some of the major features of the upcoming smartphone. The variant in India appears to be similar to the global version of Oppo A5 Pro 5G, which was unveiled in select markets earlier this year. However, the design and specifications of this version differ from the Chinese counterpart, which was launched in December 2024.

The price of Oppo A5 Pro 5G will start from Rs. 17,999 for 8GB + 128GB option, while 8GB + 256GB variant is priced at Rs. According to 19,999, Report 91mobiles by Hindi by citing industry sources.
Oppo has recently confirmed that the Indian version of A5 Pro 5G will have IP69 dust and water-resistant ratings and a damage-proof, drop-resistant 360-degree armor body. The handset will pack 5,800mAh battery with 45W charging support.
The global version of Oppo A5 Pro 5G is listed with a MediaTek Demission 6300 SoC, up to 12GB with LPDDR4X RAM and up to 256GB of UFS 2.2 onboard storage. It shipblies with Coloros 15.0 based on Android 15.
For optics, the Oppo A5 Pro 5G Global variant has a 50-megapixel main rear sensor with OIS with a 2-megapixel sensor. The front camera has an 8-megapixel sensor for selfie and video calls. It plays with a 6.67-inch HD+ (720×1,604 pixels) LCD screen with 120Hz refresh rate, 1,000 NITS peak brightness levels, and Corning Gorilla Glass 7i Protection.
In particular, in China, Oppo A5 Pro 5G has a MediaTek Demidence 7300 SoC, a 16-megapixel selfie shooter, 6.7-inch 120Hz Full-HD+ AMOLED display, and 6,000mAh battery with an 80W WIRED FAST charging support support.
