The Oppo K13 Turbo series will be launched in India next week, the company announced on Tuesday. The upcoming lineup made its debut in China in July and includes two models – Oppo K13 Turbo and K13 Turbo Pro. Their Indian counterparts are confirmed for the convenience of underlying centrifugal fans as an active cooling remedy. According to the company, the Pro model will be operated by Snapdragon 8S General 4 processor. The Oppo K13 Turbo series is teased to support several artificial intelligence (AI) -backed features.

The Oppo K13 Turbo series is to be launched in India on August 11 at 12 noon. While pricing details are currently wrapped, the brand has launched it to be available under Rs. 40,000.

In the leading days for launch, China -based company Oppo K13 has been teasing several details about the Turbo series. Both phones are confirmed to come up with active and passive cooling units. There is a centrifugal fan, which uses 0.1 mm blades and spin at 18,000 rpm. This is called an active cooling remedy for efficient heat wast, as it carries air through the chassis of the phone.
For passive thermal management, Oppo K13 Turbo and K13 Turbo Pro will get 7,000 square mm vapor chamber and 19,000 square mm graphite layer.
The Pro model claims to improve Snapdragon 8S General 4 SoC 31 percent improvement in CPU and 49 percent improvement in GPU performance compared to previous generations. In addition, there is also an NPU on the handset that is adapted for low-power tasks. As a result, Oppo K13 turbo will arrive with support for Gemini features, such as text summary, smart suggestions and on-screen awareness. It is said that it has Wi-Fi 7, 5G and Bluetooth 6.0 connectivity features.
Moving on the Oppo K13 turbo, it is to be operated by MediaTek Demistance 8450 chipset. The company claims a 40 percent reduction in energy consumption as well as a 41 percent improvement in multi-core performance. The SoC is combined with an Arm G720 MC7 GPU, which is said to have a 25 percent high peak graphics performance and continuous FPS under heavy load.
Oppo K13 will also equip turbo with NPU 880 with a NPU 880 with 40 percent better AI efficiency. It is expected to enable AI-supported abilities such as real-time voice recognition, visual adaptation and smart enhancement throughout the system.
