Another month and another ultra model is here! Oppo’s latest Salvo, Find X8 Ultra, has been unveiled in China. As expected, the new ultra almost every department has an upgradation on its predecessor and a true major of 2025. But, if you are reading it anywhere in India and getting excited, it is not because it is not making its way for India. But I am not surprised because Find X7 Ultra did not make his way here. We got our hand on the phone a few days ago, and here we have the first impression.

Oppo Find X8 Ultra will be available in many RAM and storage variants in China. CNY 6,499 (about 76,300 rupees) for the price 16GB + 512GB model starts at 12GB + 256GB), CNY 6,999 (about 82,200 rupees), and the top-line model costs CNY 7,999 (about 94,000 rupees). Sales begins in China on 16 April next week.

Oppo claims that Find X8 Ultra is the thinnest camera phone at 8.78 mm thickness. To compare, Find X7 Ultra, launched last year, measured 9.5 mm, and recently reviewed Xiaomi 15 Ultra (Review) measures of 9.48 mm.
The company also claims that the sleek profile has become possible with many internal optimizations such as redigned motherboards and a new-gene silicon-carbon battery technology. The Oppo Find X8 also includes Apple’s club to introduce two new physical buttons on Ultra. There is a shortcut button that can be customized for any function or can be tagged on an app, while the quick button can be used as a camera control.
Of course, cameras are the largest highlights, and they are always part of Oppo’s ultra line of smartphones.

Oppo x8 find ultra: initial views
Holding X8 Ultra in your hand for the first time looks like a flagship smartphone. And, in fact, on paper, it is still best from Oppo. The company has launched Ultra in Matt Black, Pure White and Shell Pink Colors. I found pink one, and the surface of muted color and matte increases the overall look of the phone – pure elegance.
The 6.82 inch quad HD+ AMOLED display is bright and crisp. Support for Dolby Vision enhances multimedia experience. In a limited time I spent with Find X8 Ultra, I loved reading or streaming videos on the display. But I will reserve my decision on it until I will get much time to test it.

Like some recent Oppo premium phones, Find X8 Ultra also comes with the branding of The Legendary camera maker Hasseld. Oppo (Hasselbad), Vivo (Zees), and Xiaomi (Leka) – all three are tightly closed for their related cooperations for cameras.
Oppo Find X8 Ultra gets an all-new penta camera system, with a 50-megapixel ultra-wide camera with a 1-inch Sony Lyt-900 sensor, OIS, 10-bit HDR, 50-megapixel ultra-wide camera with a aperture, a 50-magapixel wide camera with a 50-megapixel ultra-wide camera, f/2.0 aperture. Another 50-megapixel Sony Lyt700 sensor with 3x periscope telephoto camera, and another telephoto camera-OIS, 120x Digital Zoom and 6x Periscope Zoom 50-Megapixel Sony Lyt-600 with 6x periscope zoom. Finally, a 2-megapixel color sensor is used for a multisactral system. On the front, there is a 32-megapixel Sony IMX809 sensor. On the video front, Oppo says that all the four cameras the rear can shoot 4k 60fps dolby vision video, which is an impressive extra.

Talking about the quality of images, Find X8 Ultra is a competent smartphone, and the samples below are a great indicator. There are some main attractions of a lot of details, accurate colors, and controlled noise cameras – it can be achieved with the limited time spent with the device as it has been with me only for a few days. The company talked about it during China’s unveiling and said that this smartphone is a major leap for photography, and the new image processing engine aims to improve clarity, speed and color accuracy.
