New Delhi:

Official sources said on Saturday that a Pakistani Ranger has been detained by the BSF from the India-Pakistan border.

The development took place nearly a fortnight after rangers were arrested by rangers amid growing tension between the two countries in view of the terrorist attack in Pahgam in Jammu and Kashmir, in which 26 people, most of the tourists were killed.

He said that the Pakistani Ranger has been taken into custody from the Rajasthan border.

BSF jawan Purnam Kumar Shaw was caught by Rangers in Punjab on 23 April and refused to hand over it despite a strong opposition registered by the Indian force.
