Haryana Police said that a suspected detective was arrested in Pinipat district on Tuesday to supply sensitive information to some persons in Pakistan.
Police said on Wednesday that the suspect, Naaman Elahi (24), is from Karana in Uttar Pradesh, who was working as a private security guard in the district.
“(Ilahi) was in touch with some people in Pakistan and was supplying sensitive information,” said Karanal SP Ganga Ram Punia, who is also charging an additional fee as Pinipat SP.
When asked who Ilahi is in touch with, Puni said, “These things are part of the investigation. We have seized their mobile phone, and further investigation is on.” After the initiative terrorist attack last month, Elahi’s arrest came in the wake of vigilance in Haryana in view of recent military conflicts with Pakistan.
India and Pakistan came to a sense on May 10, which brought both countries to the verge of full scale, with immediate effect after four -day acute -border drone and missile strikes to shut down all firing and military functions on land, air and sea.
The arrest falls on the heels of another incident in which the Punjab Police said that they have arrested two persons, including a woman, for his alleged involvement in the detective activities associated with the Pakistani officer posted in Delhi.
