Pakistam asked Indian diplomat to leave the country within 24 hours


Islamabad:

Pakistan on Tuesday declared an employee member of the Indian High Commission to engage in the activities of “Personality Non Greta”, which he called “incompatible” with his privileged position.

A statement issued by the Ministry of External Affairs also said that the concerned officer has been instructed to leave Pakistan within 24 hours.

“The Government of Pakistan has declared an employee member of the Indian High Commission, Islamabad as a personality non -Gretta to engage in incompatible activities with his privileged position,” said this.

It states that Indian Charge D’Fyers were called to the Ministry of External Affairs on Tuesday for a Demarke, expressing the decision.

Earlier, India expelled a Pakistani officer working in the Pakistan High Commission in New Delhi to allegedly indulge in espionage.

The Ministry of External Affairs (Mea) said that the officials were not involved in activities keeping in mind their official status in India and were given 24 hours to leave the country.

This step comes amid tension between the two neighbors after a four -day military confrontation.
