Pakistan Loc ceasefire violates again, Indian Army takes vengeance

New Delhi:

Pakistani troops opened fire on Indian posts across the Line of Control last night, as tension between the two countries increased on the massacre of 26 civilians in a tourist hotspot in Pahgam, Jammu and Kashmir. This is the second time in two nights when Pakistani soldiers have tried to incite the Indian side.

The Indian Army reported firing from several positions from across the Line of Control, actually the real border separating Indian and Pakistani forces in Jammu and Kashmir and Ladakh. Officials said Indian soldiers retaliated properly for Pakistani firing.

The Indian Army said in a statement, there were no casualties in the exchange of fire.

“On the night of April 2025 on the night of 25th -26, several Pakistan Army posts were fired during the Line of Control in Kashmir. Indian soldiers responded properly with small arms. No casualties were casualties,” the statement said.

The speculative firing was also reported yesterday, with military sources suggested that Pakistani soldiers were trying to investigate the vigilance of Indian soldiers amid calls within India, which were to take decisive action against terrorist hotspots in LoC.

The violations of the ceasefire followed a string of measures taken by India in response to the Palagam terror attack. In Tuesday’s genocide, at least 26 civilians were shot by five militants who were holidaying in Basaron Meadow, known as “Mini Switzerland”.

In response, India along with the Water Minister suspended the Indus Water Treaty, declared a “not a drop” of the river water, which would flow into Pakistan. In tight-for-tat measures, the two countries pulled their diplomatic staff and canceled the visa, leaving the visitors with a short time limit to return to their motherland.

Islamabad has also suspended all bilateral treaty with India, including the Shimla Agreement. The Vagah Seema, which attracted thousands of tourists from both sides and hosted the popular border ceremony, has also been closed.
