A few hours after India’s Operation Sindoor, a targeted military strike on nine terrorist camps across the border to avenge the Pahalgam terror attack, the floods of disintegration from the social media handle associated with the Pakistani media and the government. Many of these platforms broadcast the baseless narratives, accusing Pakistan of an anti -counterfeit attacks on Indian soil – one such claim is that Pakistan attacked the military base in Amritsar.
Although, Government of IndiaThe official fact-locomotive agency has called the claim “wrong”.
A fake video of the claim was also aired on social media, with the Press Information Bureau (PIB) Fact Check Division noted that the footage is from a forest fire in 2024.

On Wednesday, the official facts of the government also flagged off Considered advisorY falsely blamed the Center.
The fake advisor claimed that citizens were urged to remain calm and take precautionary steps such as non-peculiar food, medicines, and emergency contacts between the increasing positions with the India-Pakistan border. The advisory civil defense protocol appeared to mirror, but was not issued by any official agency.

Some other fake claims shared by the high-profile accounts associated with Pakistan’s military media wing and the Inter-Services Public Relations (ISPR) were involved in some other fake claims that the Pakistan Air Force had targeted the Srinagar Airbase and destroyed an Indian Army Brigade Headquarters. However, these accounts failed to introduce reliable evidence, visual proofs or satellite imagery to support the claim.
India’s Operation Sindoor
India carried out 24 missile attacks at nine places in Pakistan and Pakistan -occupied Kashmir in 25 minutes, killing 70 terrorists and injuring another 60 to avenge the Pahgam terror attack. Attacks were carried out in Muzaffarabad, Kotli, Bahawalpur, Rawalkot, Chakswari, Bhimber, Neelam Valley, Jhelum and Chakwa.
According to government sources, the attack was more than a military reaction and was synchronized to avoid detection and damage.
In response, Pakistan resorted to ‘arbitrary and indiscriminate firing’ and artillery firing, killing three civilians in Poonch sector in Jammu and Kashmir.
On Thursday, Pakistan continued it Unprotected firing Cross the LoC in opposite areas of Kupwara, Baramalla, Uri and Akhnoor for the 14th consecutive day. 13 people, including four children and a soldier, were killed as the Pakistan Army carried out intense artillery and mortar shelling in response to India’s Operation Sindoor.
