The picture shared by India in a press briefing in New Delhi was presented by India for decades as a visual proof that Pakistan, and especially its military establishment, not only the ports, but officially supported terrorists.

During the Kandahar kidnapping of IC -814, India was forced to release three jail militants including Masood Azhar in exchange for 190 civilian hostages.
The High Commissioner mentioned the previous matters to argue that Pakistan’s calls for an international investigation were not reliable. He cited the 2016 Pathankot attack, during which India allowed Pakistani investigators to reach the base of a sensitive Indian Air Force. Cooperation, Mr. Doriswami said, was not mutual. He also mentioned the 2008 Mumbai attacks, where wide evidence was assigned to Pakistani authorities, who were ignored or misused to take into account relations between terrorists and the deep state of Pakistan.
