PM Modi announced $ 200 million oral

Prime Minister Narendra Modi on Saturday announced the 200 million USD Defense Credit Line for Angola and committed to work firmly and decisively against terrorists and their supporters, a claim that came a few days after the Pahgam terror strike.

PM Modi commented after having a comprehensive conversation with Angle’s President Joao Manuel Gonclaves Laurenco, which focuses on increasing overall bilateral relations in areas of digital public infrastructure.

In his media statement, the Prime Minister said that Laurenco’s visit to India not only gives a new direction to bilateral relations, but also strengthens the India-Africa partnership.

“I am happy to announce India’s 200 million Defense Credit Line to support the modernization of Angola’s defense forces,” he said.

The Prime Minister also said that repair, overhaul and supply of defense platforms were also discussed.

PM Modi said that India will also share its abilities with Angola in digital public infrastructure, space technology and capacity building areas.

“We have decided to further strengthen our relationship in areas of healthcare, diamond processing, fertilizer and important minerals.”

The Prime Minister also said, “We are committed to taking firm and decisive action against terrorists and who support them.”

Exposing the importance of relations between India and the African Union, he said, “We are partners on progress, we are pillars of the global South.” Laurenco arrived in Delhi on Thursday on a four -day visit.
