Prime Minister Narendra Modi distributed 51,236 appointment letters to the newly-discussed candidates in the departments and organizations of the Central Government as part of the 15th Rosagar Mela held on Saturday. The program was actually coordinated and coordinated at 47 places across the country.
In his address, PM Modi stepped into permanent government roles to the youth, saying, “With your new responsibilities, you now play an important role in India’s economy, infrastructure, internal security and strengthening the welfare of your people. The faster we progress towards a vikaji India.”
Calling the youth as inspiring power behind national progress, the Prime Minister emphasized its important role in making India a global force.
“If the youth are stakeholders in the development of a country, then rapid development is as follows. Today, the youth of India are proving their ability,” he said.
Highlighting the opportunities of self-employment, PM Modi pointed to initiatives like Skill India, Startup India and Digital India, in which he said that he has created an open platform for innovation and talent.
He said, “In this decade, our youth have taken India to unprecedented heights in technology and innovation. Platforms like UPI, ONDC and GEM show that young Indians are leading Indian digital changes,” he said.
The Prime Minister also talked about the new manufacturing mission, which was declared in Budget 2025-26, aimed at promoting ‘Make in India’ initiative and empowering the youth to produce competitive products globally.
He cited record-breaking growth in areas such as automobiles, footwear and Khadi and Cottage Industries, later crossed the turnover of Rs 1.7 lakh crore.
Inland water transport also depicted PM Modi’s comment as a symbol of India’s infrastructure progress.
He said, “Cargo has increased to 145 million tonnes this year from 18 million tonnes in 2014, through the waterways. The national waterways have increased from only 5 to 110 to 110, the operating network is now touching about 5,000 km,” he said.
Talking about the waves about 2025, PM Modi said, “In a few days, the World Audio Visual and Entertainment Summit, Waves 2025, will be held in Mumbai. The incident is also focused on the youth of the country. First, for the first time, the young creators of the country are getting such a platform.”
The Prime Minister specially praised the increasing participation of women, citing UPSC results. He said, “The most charming part of our youth’s progress is its inclusive. Our daughters are excellent – in fact, the latest UPSC exams went to the top two rank women,” he said.
Emphasizing the importance of artificial intelligence (AI), PM Modi said, “Youth will get an opportunity to learn and understand AI and emerging media. Various workshops will be organized for this purpose. It will bring new energy for the future of India’s digital materials. Today is the most commendable thing about the success of the youth of India.”
He encouraged the youth to participate in the ‘Ek paid mother’s name’ as contribution to the country in honor of their mothers.
Ending his address, PM Modi said, “Together, we will build an India which will be ‘Vikasit’ (developed) as well as ‘Samardh’ (rich).”
Appointments will work in major ministries, including the Ministry of Home Affairs, Ministry of Railways, Ministry of Railways, Ministry of Labor and Employment, Revenue Department and Higher Education Department.
Since its inception in October 2022, the Rosagar Mela has appointed more than 1 million persons for permanent government jobs. 75,000 letters were distributed in the first edition, while 71,000 were handed over to the 14th edition in December 2023.
This initiative is part of the government’s widespread strategy to bridge the employment gaps and empower the youth of the country with meaningful opportunities.
