Prime Minister Narendra Modi reached Anandpur Dham in Ashoknagar district of Madhya Pradesh on Friday afternoon and performed worship in a temple inside the religious center.
Anandpur Dham is located in Anandpur village of Isgarh tehsil, about 30 km from Ashoknagar district headquarters and 215 km from Bhopal.
A state government official said that after worshiping in Guru Ji Maharaj temple, PM Modi will participate in a public program and address a gathering.
Anandpur Dham, established by Sri Anandpur Trust, is spread over 315 hectares for spiritual and philanthropic purposes. An official release states that it has a modern Gaushala (Gaushed) with more than 500 cows and runs agricultural activities.
The trust operates a charitable hospital in schools in Sukhpur village, Sukhpur and Anandpur and ‘Satsang’ centers across the country.
This is the second visit of PM Modi of Madhya Pradesh this year. He visited Bageshwar Dham in Chhatpur district on 23 February and inaugurated the Global Investor Summit in the state capital Bhopal the next day.
