Bikaner:
Prime Minister Narendra Modi on Thursday inaugurated the Amrit Bharat Deshanoke railway station in Bikaner-Mumbai train service in Bikner district of Rajasthan.
During this time, he inspected an exhibition at the railway station and interacted with the students, who gifted some paintings to him.
Earlier, he landed in the Naal airbase in Bikaner and proceeded directly to Karni Mata Temple in Deshanok. PM Modi prayed in the famous temple.
On his arrival, the Prime Minister was received by Rajasthan Governor Haribau Bagde, Chief Minister Bhajan Lal Sharma and Union Minister Arjun Ram Meghwal.
The temple officials welcomed him with a replica of Karni Mata Temple, and also offered ‘Prasad’ and a donation in the sanctum sanctorum.
This is his first visit to Rajasthan after India’s attack on terrorist launch pads in Pakistan and Pakistan occupied Kashmir (POK) on 7 May.
He will also address a large public meeting in Palana village near Bikner.
His total stay in Bikaner is scheduled for 3 hours and 25 minutes. The journey reminds him of his public address in Churu, the morning of the air strike after the Pulwama attack.
The Prime Minister will leave for the village of Palana by about 8 km, the journey of about 8 km. A huge crowd of more than one lakh people is expected at the public meeting site, where seating arrangements and a large pandal have been established.
During the incident, PM Modi will inaugurate 103 nectar stations across the country and lay the foundation stone for various development projects worth Rs 26,000 crore. These projects include 1,000 km electrified railway tracks, seven major road projects, three vehicle underpasses, one powergrid transmission project and 900 km national highway in Rajasthan. After a public meeting, the Prime Minister will return to NAL Airport by helicopter at around 12.30 pm and will leave for Delhi at around 1.15 pm.
