Prime Minister Narendra Modi said on Saturday that global investors are very interested in India and states should use the opportunity to attract investment by removing policy obstacles, as he insisted that if the central government and the state work together like Team India, no goal is impossible.
Addressing NITI Aayog’s 10th Governing Council meeting, PM Modi said that India has signed trade agreements with the United Kingdom, UAE and Australia, and states should use the opportunity to the optimal.
Breaking reporters about the meeting, CEO BVR Subrahmanyam of NITI Aayog said that the meeting was attended by 31 states and a total of 36 centers, which were added to those who could not make it and informed the council.
The states that did not attend the meeting were Karnataka, Kerala, West Bengal, Bihar and Puducherry, they said, the maximum attendance was seen in the 10th meeting of the council.
Subrahmanyam further said that everyone present in the meeting unanimously supported Operation Sindoor, which was done by India to destroy the terrorist infrastructure in Pakistan.
“The Prime Minister mentioned that ‘Operation Sindoor should not be considered as an united initiative and we should adopt a long-term approach,” it is said in a Niti Aig statement.

Quoting PM Modi, the CEO of Neeti Ayog said that states are places where there is action, so states need to focus on expanding services and manufacturing sector to make jobs.
“(States) need to reduce the bottlenecks of policy, remove obsolete laws, create an investor -friendly environment … remove unnecessary regulation at the state level,” Subrahmanyam quoted the Prime Minister.
PM Modi urged the states to develop at least one global-standard tourist destination in each to attract international visitors and promote the local economy.

PM Modi said, “Vikit India is the goal of every Indian. When every state is Vikasit, Bharat will be Vikasit. It is the aspiration of his 140 crore citizens,” PM Modi said.
PM Modi said, “We must have the purpose of making each state Vikasit, each city Vikasit, each city Palika Vikasit and each village Vikasit. If we work on these lines, we will not have to wait to become a Wikiseet India until 2047,” PM Modi said.
The Prime Minister also suggested that states should develop at least one tourist destination per state with global standards and provide all facilities and infrastructure.
“One state: a global destination. It will also pursue the development of neighboring cities as tourist places,” he said.
Given that India is becoming increasingly urbanized, PM Modi said, “We should work towards the cities ready for the future”.
He said that development, innovation and stability should be an engine for the development of cities of India.
PM Modi also emphasized the need to work towards including women in the workforce.
“We should make laws and policies to integrate them in the workforce respectfully,” he said.
Subrahmanyam said that taking cu from the central government, five states have already released their vision documents, and 12 states are ready to release their vision documents.
