Poco F7 5G India launch date set for 24 June; To start in global markets on the same day

Poco F7 5G will be launched in India later this month. The company has announced the launch date of the handset and teased its design. The design shows the handset with an elliptical dual rear camera unit with a 50-megapixel main camera. An impression on the back panel shows that the handset will run on a Snapdragon chipset. Poco F7 Ultra variant, unveiled in March, may be launched in India with the Vanilla model. Poco F7 will see a global launch on the same day.

The previous leak has suggested that the Poco F7 5G will probably be powered by a Snapdragon 8s Gen 4 SOC. The company has confirmed that the Indian version of Poco F7 5G will come with a 7,550mAh battery for 90W wired fast charging and 22.5W reverse wired charging. Meanwhile, the global version can pack 6,500mAh cells.

The Poco F7 5G is expected to be equipped with a 20-megapixel selfie camera in the front, a 50-megapixel Sony IMX882 primary sensor and an 8-megapixel ultravide shooter at the back. The phone may come with a 6.83-inch AMOLED display, an IP68-rated build and an aluminum middle frame. Its price is almost Rs. 30,000 in India.

In particular, Poco India chief Himanshu Tandon had first teased the arrival of the Poco F7 Ultra variant in India. The phone can be unveiled in the country with the Vanilla Poco F7 5G model.
