Gurdaspur:
The Government of India and the Government of Punjab have issued instructions under the Civil Defense Act, 1968, which is effective in Gurdaspur district from 9:00 pm to 5:00 am, till 8 May, 2025, till further orders.
The statement issued wrote, “Due to a sensitive environment on the Indo-Pak border, the guidelines of the Government of India and the Guidelines of the Government of Punjab. According to this, further orders will be issued till 08.05.2025 to deal with emergency under the Civil Defense Act 1968. However, the windows of Gurdaspur jail and hospitals will close every day from 9.00 am.”
The remedy is in response to a sensitive environment along the Indo-Pakistan border and is aimed at addressing any possible emergency status.
The Blackout Order gives exemption to Central Jail Gurdaspur and hospitals. However, these institutions should keep their windows closed and be safely covered during specified hours so that no light can be saved.
After India’s operation vermilion, in which nine deep terrorist sites were destroyed inside Pakistan, Pakistan tried to attach several military goals on the night of 7 May.
The Military Targets were engaged in Northern and Western India, Including Awantipura, Srinagar, Jammu, Pathankot, Amritsar, KAPURTSAR, KAPURTSARANAHALANDAR, LUDHIANA, Adampur, Bhatinda, Chandigarh, Nal, Chandigarh, NAL, Chandigarh, Nal, Chalodi, Uttarlai, and bhuj, using draones and missiles.
These were neutralized by integrated counter UAS grids and air defense systems. The debris of these attacks is now being recovered from many places that prove Pakistani attacks.
The Indian Air Force S-400 Sudarshan Chakra air defense missile systems were fired against the target of moving towards India on Wednesday night. Many domain experts told ANI that the goals were successfully neutralized in the operation. An official government is awaiting confirmation.
On Thursday morning, the Indian Armed Forces targeted air defense radars and systems at several places in Pakistan. The Indian reaction has been in the same domain with the same intensity as Pakistan. It is firmly learned that an air defense system in Lahore has been neutralized.
Sources said more than 100 terrorists were abolished with a series of accurate attacks launched in the early hours of Wednesday.
