Rajasthan Government School Teacher Recruitment Examination was organized to issue fake certificates to applicants

Jodhpur Police arrested a senior government teacher to provide fake degree certificate to the applicants of Bachelor of Physical Education (B.PED) recruitment examination.
The accused, identified as Babulal Patel, is a senior English teacher in a government school in Luni city in Jodhpur district.

According to the police, he was on run for a long time and gave a cash reward of Rs 25,000.

IGP (Jodhpur Range) Vikas Kumar said that the accused was caught at Delhi railway station when he was on a train coming from Assam.

The accused was handed over to the Special Operations Group (SOG) of Rajasthan Police in Jaipur.

Kumar said that Patel has provided fake degree certificates of private universities to several applicants.

So far, 17 arrests have been made by the SOG in the case, including the Vice Chancellor and Registrar of these universities.

Kumar said that when Patel was running away, he spent most of his time with his reverence for Goddess Kamakhya in Assam.

Patel also wanted two other cases, in which he had given fake degrees to two successful candidates in the lecture recruitment examination conducted by Rajasthan Public Service Commission.
