The Redmi A4 5G was launched as a budget offer in India in November last year. Now, months after its launch, a new version of the phone has been unveiled in the country. The new Redmi A4 5G variants offers high RAM and are available to buy on Amazon India and Xiaomi India website. The Redmi A4 5G has a 6.88-inch HD+ display and is equipped with a Qualcomm Snapdragon 4S Gen 2 SoC. It has a 5,160mAh battery with support for 18W charging.

Redmi A4 5G’s 4GB + 64GB and 4GB + 128GB variants, which were launched in November last year, priced Rs. 7,999 and Rs. 8,799 respectively.

The Redmi A4 5G started with Android 14- Based Hyperose and confirmed the two-year OS update and a four-year security update. The budget 5G phone has a 6.88 -inch HD+ (720×1,640 pixels) LCD screen with a 120Hz refresh rate and runs on 4Nm Snapdragon 4S General 2 chip, which is combined with 6GB LPDDR4x RAM. The handset packs up to 128GB of UFS 2.2 storage that can be extended up to 1TB using microSD card slot
For optics, Redmi A4 5G has a 50-megapixel main rear camera with f/1.8 aperture and 5-megapixel front camera with f/2.2 aperture. It has a side-mounted fingerprint scanner. The handset has an IP52-rated build for dust and splash resistance
