The Redmi A5 was recently unveiled with an octa-core Unisoc T7250 chipset and 5,200mAh battery in Indonesia. The handset is now ready to enter the Indian market. With the announcement of the India’s launch date of the smartphone, the company has revealed its design, color option and some major features. The availability details of the phone have also been confirmed. In particular, Poco C71, which was unveiled earlier this month, offers similar features as Redmi A5.
Redmi A5 India launch: We all know
According to an official, Redmi A5 will be launched in India at 12 noon on 15 April. Landing pageA promotional banner on Flipkart Confirm this This phone will be available to buy in the country through Xiaomi India E-Store as well as e-commerce platforms. 
A tagline on the banner shows that Redmi A5 will come with “Royal Design”. Teaser images on the landing page show that the Indian version will have the same design as its global counterpart. It will be introduced in Jaisalmer Gold, Just Black and Pondicherry Blue Color Options.
The official landing page of Redmi A5 further confirms that the handset Tüv Rheinland will come with a 120Hz display with a comfort certification. Similar to the global version, it will also pack a 5,200mAh battery. Ok print on the website shows that the price of the phone is Rs. 10,000 in the country.
In Indonesia, the Redmi A5 is priced at 4GB + 128GB option IDR is 11,99,000 (about 6,100 rupees). In particular, Poco C71, which shares the same specifications as the Redmi A5, is listed on the RS. 6,499 and Rs. 7,499 for 4GB + 64GB and 6GB + 128GB variants.
The global version of the Redmi A5 is powered by an Unisoc T7250 SoC that is paired with 4GB LPDDR4X RAM and 128GB EMMC 5.1 onboard storage. It ships with Android 15 GO version and carries a 6.88-inch HD+ display. For optics, it has a 32-megapixel dual rear camera unit and an 8-megapixel selfie shooter.
