Revaluation, Marx Verification Process Schedule was released, see details here

CBSE Answer Sheets 2025: The Central Board of Secondary Education (CBSE) has issued a schedule for the revaluation process for students appearing in class 10 and 12 board examinations in 2025. This year, the board has revised post-resigned activities to increase transparency and reduce errors. The new process allows students to reach and review the scanned copies of their answer sheets for selected subjects. If they identify any clearly noticeable errors, they can inform the board accordingly.

Previously, the revaluation process consisted of three stages after the declaration of results: verification of marks, obtaining a photocopy of the assessment answer book, and revaluation of specific answers.

An official notice states: “There is a possibility that even after so many steps and measures, some mistakes remain inaccessible. In such scenario, CBSE is giving students an opportunity to see their answer books and inform the board to correct the mistake (if needed).”

“This change is aimed at giving students more transparency and control over their exam results, allowing them to better understand their performance and challenge errors in the evaluation process,” the notice said.

Major date and duty:

  • Class 10 students can request photocopy starting from May 21, while Class 12 candidates can apply from May 27.
  • The fee for obtaining scanned copies is Rs 700 per subject.
  • The verification of the points for class 10 will start from May 28, and for class 12 on 3 June.
  • A processing fee of Rs 100 per paper will be applicable for revaluation or verification applications.

The board also clarified: “In cases where the marks change (increase and decrease in both), such candidates will currently have to surrender to the marking-weapon-certain.

Students are advised to visit the official CBSE website to use detailed guidelines and apply for photocopy and revaluation within the stipulated time frame.

CBSE released results for class 10 and 12 board examinations on 13 May.

In class 12, the pass rate rose to 88.39% in 2025, which led to more than 87.98% improvement recorded last year. Of the 17,04,367 students enrolled, 16,92,794 appeared for the examination, and 14,96,307 were passed.

For class 10, the pass percentage increased from 93.60% in 2024 to 93.66% in 2025. Out of 23,85,079 students who were registered, 23,71,939 appeared for the examination, and 22,21,636 passed.
