Samsung allegedly delays a UI7 rollout for select Galaxy phones.

Samsung has revealed the global release schedule of the operating system (OS), a few days after Samsung started a UI 7 rollout in South Korea. According to claims on social media, the company may have pushed the Android 15-based update back by May 2025 for several Galaxy devices including the Galaxy S23 series, while the Galaxy Tab S9 series and the Galaxy Tab A9 can get it late as June and July.

A UI 7 release schedule

This information comes from a Reddit post by @The_tam, which claims that a UI 7 release schedule has been seen in Samsung member app. Found under the notice section, along with the screenshot updates are indicated, which is on schedules for release for the Galaxy Z Fold 6 and Galaxy Z Flip 6 with the Samsung Galaxy S24 series.

Meanwhile, it is said that the Galaxy S23 series, the Galaxy Tab S10 series, the Galaxy Z Fold 5 and the Galaxy Z Flip 5, and many other Samsung devices were pushed back by May. Social media posts show that Samsung Galaxy Tab S9 Fe Series, Galaxy A35 5G, Galaxy A5G, and Galaxy A, Galaxy A, Galaxy A, and Galaxy M Lineup can delay it for other models in the Galaxy M Lineup for one month. He is expected to receive a UI 7 update in June.

The screenshot suggests that the Android 15-based update for the Galaxy Tab A9 may be delayed by July. The entire UI 7 release schedule is as follows:

Footnotes mention that the release schedule of the update is under the country in which it is rolling out, and the network operator. The Samsung update can decide to stop the process if a problem is faced during the rollout phase, which is already reported to be for the Galaxy S24 series earlier this month due to the “serious” bug.
