Samsung Galaxy A17 leaked render shows new camera modules; EXYNOS 1380 SOC asked to get

The Samsung Galaxy A17 is said to work as the successor of last year’s Galaxy A16. Recently, the alleged render and specifications of this new Galaxy have leaked online by a series smartphone. The Galaxy A17 has a familiar design with noticeable bezels and a triple rear camera setup. It appears to be a black-out camera module. The main upgradation appears to be the new chipset in the Galaxy A17. Apart from these, most specifications, including overall dimensions, are asked to remain unchanged.

It has a triple rear camera setup vertically aligned and has a flat display with a noticeable bezel. The display has a waterdrop-style notch, which has a selfie camera in the middle.

The most noticeable change from the Galaxy A16 is in addition to a black bar connecting the rear camera lens. The design was previously seen on the Galaxy A56 and Galaxy A36 5G.

Samsung Galaxy A17 specification

Samsung’s Galaxy A17 is provided with a 6.7-inch AMOLED display and maintains a triple rear camera setup similar to the Galaxy A16, including a 50-megapixel primary sensor, 5-megapixel ultravide sensor and 2-megapixel macro shooter. The upcoming phone has been extended for the same dimensions as the Galaxy A16, which is 164.4×77.9×7.9 mm.

The Galaxy A17 will allegedly run on the company’s in-house Exynos 1380 chipset. This will be an upgrade from Exynos 1330 available on Galaxy A16. The new model is expected to pack 5,000mAh battery with 25W charging support.

The Galaxy A17 is expected to be launched around the same time as its predecessor, which was declared in October last year. The handset was first seen with model number SM-A075F on the Geekbench database. It got 554 in single-core test and 1,934 in multi-core performance. The handset was tested with Android 15 and 4 GB RAM.
