Samsung Galaxy M36 has appeared on a popular benchmarking website, which has taken us a look at its chipset, RAM and Android version. The company has not yet confirmed the presence of the handset, but it is expected to arrive as the successor of Galaxy M35 5G, which was introduced in India in July 2024, with an Exynos to 1380 SoC and up to 8GB. The Galaxy M35 was sent with Android 14-based UI 6, and the upcoming Galaxy M36 is also expected to start with an exynos chipset.

The alleged Samsung Galaxy M36 has been Listed Model number on Geekbench with SM-M366B. The model number states that this is the global version of the handset. It is listed with an octa-core chipset, with four performance core at 2.40GHz and four efficiency core 2.0GHz. This exynos is expected to be 1380 SoC, the same processor that gives strength to the existing Galaxy M35 model.
The Geekbench listing suggests that Samsung Galaxy M36 will feature an arm Mali G68 GPU. It will be equipped with at least 6GB of RAM and will run on top with a UI 7 on Android 15. The phone scored 1,004 and 2,886 on single-core and multi-core benchmark tests respectively.
Since Samsung Galaxy M35 Galaxy A35 came up with similar features, rumor Galaxy M36 Galaxy A36 could get the same specifications as 5G, which was introduced in India in March. However, the A-Series handset bears a Snapdragon 6 General 3 Soco. Two smartphones can still share some specialties.
Samsung Galaxy A36 5G Sports 6.7-inch Full-HD+ Super AMOLED screen 120Hz with refresh rate and Corning Gorilla Victus+ Glass Protection. It is accompanied by a 50-megapixel primary sensor, 8-megapixel ultravide shooter and a 5-megapixel macro camera with OIS with a 12-megapixel selfie shooter in the front. The phone has an IP67-rated dust and water-resistant build and packs a 5,000mAh battery with 45W wired charging support.
In particular, the Samsung Galaxy A26 5G runs on 1380 SoC. It has the same features as the Galaxy A36, but comes with a 13-megapixel front camera sensor and 25W wired charging support.
