Samsung started its Android 16-based One UI 8 Beta rollout for select markets in May, but the flagship was limited to the Galaxy S25 series. Now, a tipster suggests that it may soon be available on Galaxy S24, Galaxy Z Flip 6, and Galaxy Z Fold 6. In addition, the South Korean tech group has also been tipped to the Android 16-based beta program to bring its old handsets such as Samsung Galaxy S22 and Galaxy Z. Fold 4 in July.
Samsung Galaxy One UI 8 Beta
In a post on X (East Twitter), tipster @Tonysamsunglove shared details about a UI 8 beta. The Samsung Galaxy S24 series is expected to be between the first devices to get beta updates next week, with the Galaxy Z Fold 6 and the Galaxy Z Flip 6.
By the end of this month, the beta update is also expanded to the Galaxy S23 series, the Galaxy Z Fold 5, and the Galaxy Z Flip 5. Tipster claims that Samsung will also bring many of its old models under a UI 8 beta program. This includes Samsung Galaxy S22 series, Galaxy Z Fold 4, and Galaxy Z Flip 4.

According to Samsung, a UI 8 beta program is currently available in 36 countries including India, America and South Korea. Users can sign up for beta program through Samsung member app. However, the availability of facilities may vary on the basis of the country or region according to the technical giant.
The Android 16-based UI 8 is likely to roll out at the end of this year and may be available out-off-the-box on Samsung’s upcoming Galaxy Z Fold 7 and Galaxy Z Flip 7, which is rumored to be launched at a Galaxy Unpacked event in July.
