The Samsung Galaxy S25 Edge was declared as the latest addition to the Galaxy S25 lineup earlier this year at the Galaxy Unpacked event, but the thin phone has not yet seen daylight. With a launch for being in May, rumors about leaks and alleged handsets have highlighted its design and features. A new hands-on video of the dummy unit of the Galaxy S25 age on social media shows that it can be a factor of the same form as the iPhone 16 Plus. The slim profile of the alleged handset is also shown against the top-of-the-line Galaxy S25 Ultra.

Tipster @techdroider placed hands on one hand of a Samsung Galaxy S25 Edge Dummy Unit Post On X (East Twitter). First, the alleged handset is staged to give a glimpse of its profile against the Galaxy S25 Ultra and why it was first reported to come up with the “slim” monicor. The Galaxy S25 Edge Flagship appears significantly compared to the counterpart and is slightly smaller, possibly the same size to the Galaxy S25+.

In addition, the dummy unit of the alleged handset carries a dual rear camera system with lens vertically placed in a tablet -shaped camera module. Its right spine is shown to sport the power button as well as volume rockers, while the Galaxy S25 is the USB Type-C port, a speaker grill, a microphone and Slot for charging under the dummy unit of the S25 edge.
Subsequently, the handset is compared to Apple’s latest iPhone 16 lineup. This appears to be quite large when placed next to the iPhone 16, while the Plus model is more suitable for its form factor.
While Samsung officially showed the Galaxy S25 Edge in the Mobile World Congress (MWC) 2025 in Barcelona, it did not come to the handset’s specifications and what it could offer. Previous reports suggest that it may have a profile in the form of 5.84 mm.
The alleged Samsung Galaxy S25 Edge is widely seen as a north of Samsung’s iPhone 17 Air, which can begin till date as the company’s most thin iPhone model as part of the iPhone 17 lineup this year. The Samsung handset is expected to arrive in May, although its availability may initially be limited to China and South Korea.
