Samsung Galaxy S25 Fe is called in works and is likely to go officially in the second half of this year. So far, rumors indicated that the new fan edition smartphone would use Exynos 2400E chipset similar to last year’s Galaxy S24 Fe. However, a new leak shows that the Galaxy S25 Fe will bring an important chipset upgrade to its predecessor. The new fee phone is likely to come as the Toned-Down version of the Galaxy S25.
Samsung Galaxy S25 Fe can launch with a MediaTek chipset

Samsung will reportly consider Exynos 2400E as the first choice for the Galaxy S25 Fe, but the brand can turn an intermediary chipset as a follow -up option, if the Samsung Foundry struggles to meet the demands for the exinos chips.
The final decision is likely to move based on market dynamics. MediaTek’s demism looks better than Exynos 2400E on 9400 chipset paper. The brand is likely to give preference to its in-house chipset to support the Samsung Foundry business and to avoid high costs associated with TSMC-9400.
Samsung used the Exynos 2400E processor in last year’s Galaxy S24 Fe. The company was earlier rumored to leave the chipset upgrade completely this year using the same processor in the upcoming FE model. Apart from the Galaxy S25 Fe, the Galaxy Z Flip Fe with rumored Galaxy Z flip Fe was also asked to use Exynos 2400E.
The Galaxy S25 Fe is rumored to arrive by the end of Q3 2025 or in the fourth quarter. It is likely to be a water-down version of the original Galaxy S25, which uses a custom Snapdragon 8 Elite for the Galaxy Chip.
Samsung’s Galaxy S24 Fe was launched in September 2024 with a price tag of rupee. 59,999 for 8GB + 128GB option. It has a 6.7-inch Full-HD+ (1,080 × 2,340 pixels) Dynamic AMOLED display with 120Hz refresh rate and 512GB onboard storage with 8GB RAM. It has a triple rear camera unit headed by a 50-megapixel primary sensor and a 10-megapixel selfie shooter. It has a 4,700mAh battery with support for 25W wired charging.
