The Samsung Galaxy S26 Ultra can come with quite rapid charging support, as it is detected citing the firmware leaked by a tipster. This will be a major upgrade from Samsung’s current Galaxy S25 Ultra, which offers only 45W fast charging support. The new leakage corresponds to a previous tip in which it was suggested that the phone could come up with rapid charging. However, the phone was first asked to offer 65W charging and 5,500mAh battery.
Samsung Galaxy S26 Ultra may support rapid charging
One in Post On X (East Twitter), Tipster Arenkan Yelmz (@Aranilmz 075) suggested that the rumor could support Samsung Galaxy S -26 Ultra 60W fast charging. He saw details in the firmware of an upcoming one UI version, which is Said To be a UI 8.5. If the above specification is correct, it would mean that the South Korean tech giants can either try to compensate for not increasing the capacity of the battery or to give a slightly larger shape of the battery.
However, the rumor Samsung Galaxy S26 Ultra was designed to come up with 65W fast charging support and 5,500mAh battery. However, unlike this claim, a tipster also suggested that Samsung could not pack high -capacity battery. Therefore, advanced fast charging support can be a way for South Korean tech company to make up for the same. Since Samsung has not confirmed any specifications of the handset, it is difficult to find out how the company will go.
The firmware leak of a UI 8.5 (based on Android 16) recently also revealed that Samsung Galaxy S -26 Ultra can be operated by Qualcomm Snapdragon 8 Elite 2SOC, which is expected to be unveiled in September this year.
Samsung Galaxy S26 Ultra is expected to be launched earlier next year. It may have 16GB RAM, 6.9-inch touchscreen and IP68 water and dust resistance. It is asked to get a 200-megapixel isosel HP2 camera sensor, a 50-megapixel ultra-wide-angle lens, a 12-megapixel telephoto sensor and a 50-megapixel periscope camera.
