The Samsung Galaxy Z Fold 7 and the Galaxy Z Flip 7 are likely to officially visit Samsung’s second Galaxy Unpacked Event 2025 in July. Samsung is yet to confirm the existence of the phone, but a new report from Korea strongly indicates that these foldable devices are progressing according to the schedule. Large -scale production for two foldable phones will allegedly begin in May. The South Korean tech brand is also asked to announce its first tri-folded smartphone later this year.
As Report By South Korean outlet The Bell, Samsung Display has started producing panels for Galaxy Z Fold 7 and Galaxy Z Flip 7 this month and Samsung Electronics will start production on a large scale of foldable phones in May. The front-end manufacturing process for foldable OLED is largely called traditional mobile OLEDs. However, the back-end process involves some differences.
The Samsung display allegedly works in its convenience in South Korea, while the back-end process takes place in BAC Ninh of Vietnam. Once the Vietnamese plant is completed, the foldable OLED panels are reportedly transported to the local factory of Samsung Electronics.

Samsung’s seventh generation foldables are prescribed for release in the second half of the year. They could maintain 25W wired charging speed.
