The company says that this proposal will include replacement of the octa (on-cell touch amoled) assembly. In addition, the technician will also replace free batteries and kit. However, there are some terms and conditions.
According to Samsung support, equipment should not have any physical damage or symptoms of water damage. Equipment within three years from the date of procurement will be eligible for free-of-charge parts replacement. Additionally, only the first buyer will be able to achieve replacement on the presentation of the original challan.
Although the replacement will be taken out of free, the labor fee will be paid by the customer. They can book an appointment at the Samsung authorized service center to take advantage of this proposal and get their screen affected by the issue of Green Line.
In particular, this is not the first time Samsung has offered free screen replacement for equipment affected by the Green Line issue. In April 2024, the company announced a special replacement program in India for the Samsung Galaxy S20 series, the Galaxy Note 20 series, the Galaxy S21 series and the Galaxy S22. In November, Samsung extended the proposal to include models that are out of warranty until 31 December, 2024. It is said that by the end of this year, an expansion was received according to the tipster.
