Globally with a rollout of a UI7, Samsung is already asked to work on a UI 8. Although its launch is some time away, the Android 16-based operating system (OS) has now surfaced in a leak which also shows its early design and potential features. According to a report, Samsung has made slight visual changes in apps such as file manager and gallery. The company can also bring an AI feature, which began with the Flagship Galaxy S25 series for older models.
A UI 8 leak
One in ReportSmartaprix shared an exclusive look of a UI 8 OS installed on Samsung Galaxy Z Fold 6. The overall appearance of the OS appears to be the same as a UI7, the company’s current latest firmware. It potentially means that most design changes that Samsung wanted to introduce their mobile OS have already been rolled out with a UI 7.
While the main identity is the same, the only noticeable twicks are made for the file manager and gallery apps. Prefrontal Categories The tab is refreshed with a translucent background to make it more attractive.
Similar design changes are also made in the gallery app, which now lists media categories such as videos, favorite, recent, locations and shared albums on a translucent background. However, leaks seem to have an UI8 an initial construction, and the company may decide to make more changes in the future repetitions of OS or change existing people.
A UI 8 update is running on the Galaxy Z fold 6, claiming to bring a feature with build number F956bxxu2cyd7 which was exclusive to the first flagship Galaxy S25 series – now brief. This feature takes advantage of Galaxy AI to offer user’s device usage and activities throughout the day, and presents them in a card-style interface. It can also display health and activity matrix when paired with a galaxy watch or galaxy ring.
The report shows that this feature has been made available with a UI 8 on the Galaxy Z Fold 6 and can also make its way for other old Galaxy models.
