According to recent reports, Samsung’s first tri-folded smartphone may be unveiled next week. An image of the alleged Samsung Galaxy G folded handset was seen by a publication, giving us a good look on the upcoming smartphone. While the TRAI-folded device is expected to arrive after about a year of Huawei Mate XT ultimate design, it is asked to facilitate the folding of G-shaped rather than S-shaped folds. Samsung is expected to launch the Galaxy Z Fold 7, Galaxy Z Flip 7, and the Galaxy Watch 8 series at its next Galaxy Unpacked Event.

A light image showing a three-tunned smartphone suggests that one vertical alignment with three sensors from the outer panels will give home to the module. We do not know what the third external panel can be used for, but the animation file is not visible to show the presence of any component.

Some of these animation files refer to the device as “multifold 7” and may be internal codenames for the company’s first tri-folded smartphone.
Samsung has not yet announced any plan for a triangle-folded smartphone, so it is worth taking these claims with salt grains. The company can pierce the arrival of the advanced foldable in its next Galaxy Unpacked event on 9 July. The company had first teased the arrival of the Galaxy Ring and the Galaxy S25 Edge to other events, and may be the next tri-folded tool before the next week begins.
