Samsung has not yet confirmed the existence of these foldables, but has discussed the South Korean tech brand existing chipset options in recent weeks for its upcoming smartphones. A new leak shows that Samsung’s Galaxy Z Flip 7 will have an exinos chipset. The Galaxy Z Flip 7 Fe may not have an exynos processor.

The previous leaks suggested that the Galaxy Z Flip 7 will launch Snapdragon 8 Elite for Galaxy under its hood. Meanwhile, Samsung Galaxy Z Fold 7 still expects the facility of Snapdragon processor.

The same tipster recently stated that the Galaxy S26 series will run on the EXYNOS 2600 processor. These rumors indicate a comprehensive strategy by Samsung to increase the use of its in-house exinos chips in various devices tier, potentially reduces dependence on third-party suppliers. This can help the brand offer more competitive pricing in the foldable smartphone market.

Samsung Galaxy Z Flip 7 Fe another chipset may be arranged for another chipset

Juankenallosrav further states that inexpensive Galaxy Z Flip 7 FE will use another chipset. This recently confirms a leak that suggests that the Galaxy Z Flip 7 FE will ship with the same specifications of the Galaxy Z Flip 6 of the previous year, with a Snapdragon 8 General 3 processor.

If the new leak comes true, the Galaxy Z Flip 7 may be the first Samsung foldable to use its EXYNOS SoC of the company. Last year’s Galaxy Z Fold 6 and Galaxy Z Flip 6 have a Snapdragon 8 General 3 mobile platform for Galaxy under the hood.

Galaxy Z Flip 7 is expected to go official in July. This is estimated to facilitate a 3.6-inch cover display and 6.8-inch internal display. This can provide 12GB of RAM facility and can be offered in 256GB or 512GB storage options. It is likely to pack a dual rear camera unit including a 50-megapixel primary sensor and a 12-megapixel ultra-wide sensor. It can claim a 4,300mAh battery and provide 25W wired charging speed.
